What does this Artwork represent? This piece is a portrayal of any decision that we as humans have to make while we are upset. The sobbing eyes represent sadness, and the brain in the middle being lifted up by human hands shows that to keep the heart safe, one should ALWAYS use their brain. Furthermore, the only way one can put their brain above their heart is by convincing themselves, nobody else can do that for them, it cannot be done automatically, they have to hold their brain using their own hands(not literally) so that the heart remains unaffected. The real yet the abstract nature of this painting represents how this process seems almost surreal but in my opinion, is always the best solution. The darkness above the hands and the bright background below it also contribute to how the brain is what keeps the heart happy even though we as humans don't realize it.
